Legal Requirements for Pest Management in Ohio Schools
Currently there are no laws in Ohio specifically governing the pest management and the use pesticides in and around schools. However, ORC 901:5-11-09 that regulates the application of pesticides on lawns requires schools to provide prior notification before any pesticides can be applied to school grounds.
